Katy Strei is a Senior Consultant for the Authentic Leadership Institute, a leadership consulting firm committed to creating leaders and organizations with a deeper purpose and the courage to transform their business impact.
Katy is an executive-level practitioner and leadership coach with extensive experience partnering with leaders to drive business results. She is a superb collaborator known for strong business orientation, the ability to partner at all levels including C-suite, and for innovative, pragmatic solutions that deliver impactful results. Katy has a record of architecting and delivering high-impact leadership, talent and organization development strategies for organizations across spectrums of industry, size, complexity and maturity.
Katy has built and led the Talent, Leadership & Organization Development function (from start-up) for MedImmune, a rapidly growing fully-integrated biotechnology company. Prior to that, she led Leadership Development strategy for Fannie Mae and has held HR leadership roles for ManorCare Health Services, a national multi-site health care organization with 35,000 employees.
Katy is a chapter co-author for The Organizational Network Fieldbook (Rob Cross, et al editors) for the chapter entitled “Developing Leaders Networks through Stakeholder Mapping”.
Katy is an External Member of The World Bank’s Advisory Board on Executive Coaching (2005), and Founding Member of the Conference Board’s Council on Executive Coaching (2005).
Katy received her Leadership Coaching Certificate from Georgetown University, earned her BA in Sociology/Psychology from Lawrence University, and earned her MS in Organization Development from American University/NTL Institute.
