Kevin Smith is the Regional Manager - Asia/Australia for the Authentic Leadership Institute,  a leadership consulting firm committed to creating leaders and organizations with a deeper purpose and the courage to transform their business impact.

Client work with the Institute has spanned the consumer packaged goods, retail/trade hardware and pharmaceutical industries.

Based in Melbourne, Australia, Kevin has more than twenty five years of experience in the area of international executive and organizational development.  Kevin has long-term, successful experience in designing and implementing results-based leadership programs for the retail industry. His clients include Fosters Brewing, Foodworks supermarkets, Kmart, Uncle Toby’s, ANZ, NAB, and Jag jeans.

(ODI) Asia Pacific, responsible for business development in the Asia Pacific region for that firm, a Boston based, global consulting business.

Kevin combines longterm experience as a senior manager with outstanding facilitation and coaching skills. He gained his Masters degree in leadership and organization development from Monash University, and is an accredited facilitator in:

  • Leadership development, continuous improvement, strategic partnering and customer focus
  • The Schaffer results-based breakthrough leadership program
  • The Authentic Leadership program 
  • The Myers-Briggs instrument with its associated emotional intelligence instrument

Currently, he is an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, and was the Foundation Head of the Hawthorn Institute post graduate Management and Administration program.

Additionally, Kevin has designed and led best practices in leadership Study Tours in Japan and Australia.
