Nancy Glynn is a Senior Consultant for the Authentic Leadership Institute, a leadership consulting firm committed to creating leaders and organizations with a deeper purpose and the courage to transform their business impact.

Client work with the Institute has included both the consumer packaged goods and pharmaceutical industries.

Nancy is a strategic partner to leaders as they navigate the challenges and demands of business today with a particular focus on developing new, critical capacities to lead sustainably in the 21st century. High performance is second nature to Nancy, who has built her executive coaching and consulting practice on the foundation of two previous careers - first as a performing artist, and second as a board-level senior executive. She has lived in six countries, and twice as many cities, and in addition to her native English, works in French and German languages.

Nancy established her executive business coach and leadership development consultancy in 2007, and serves clients in pharmaceutical and healthcare companies, financial services, international law firms, professional services organizations, FMCGs, automotive, performance materials and entrepreneurial enterprises. Representative client companies include Boehringer-Ingelheim, Johnson & Johnson, Roche, Bio-Rad, Covidien, Daimler, S.W.I.F.T., PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Unilever.

Nancy draws on her experience in Executive Committee positions she held with three blue-chip multinationals in the performance material and healthcare sectors as Senior Vice President Corporate Marketing or Vice President Communications. With global European responsibility, Nancy led both direct and virtual teams in matrix organizations. She played a key executive role in significant company-wide transformations including the integrations of five major cross-border acquisitions, restructuring of corporate portfolios, disruptive business model changes, preparation for public listing and evolution brought about by crisis.

Prior to her executive career, Nancy was a classical performing artist, working in the US and Europe as a ballet soloist, touring extensively in Europe as well as to China and Cuba.

Nancy is at ease with the challenges of the complex, cross-cultural, diverse environments, which characterize today’s global business world. She understands the profound impact of systems on the ability to implement effectively, coaching clients to understand and leverage stakeholders and organizational forces for improved alignment and delivery. She has worked in and with a number of leadership programs & competency frameworks.

Nancy was raised in the US and also holds Irish citizenship. She works internationally out of her residence in London. She has a Masters in Business Administration from United Business Institutes (Brussels) and Business Coaching Accreditation from London-based Meyler Campbell and the Worldwide Association of Business Coaching. In addition, she is accredited in Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Steps I and II, is an Authorized Team Coach for the Team Diagnostic Assessment and a qualified teacher of Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction by the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. She is a member of the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches and is a Certified Business Coach (CBC), as well as a Founding Fellow of the Institute of Coaching, affiliated with Harvard University.
