Haydn Rees is a Senior Consultant for the Authentic Leadership Institute, a leadership consulting firm committed to waking up those who will wake up the many by inspiring them to discover their purpose and equipping them to lead authentically.

Haydn is an experienced practitioner in strategy execution and culture change, as well as a respected consultant in organisational, leadership, talent and leadership team development.  His experience is a product of over a decade of leadership in corporate life delivering growth and profits internationally, ‘blue chip’ business consultancy around the globe and operational service in the Royal Marines and Special Forces.

An ability to engage and communicate effectively at all levels across an organisation combines with a pragmatism that create in Haydn a specialist in the linkage between strategy and ground up execution. Haydn has used his skills and experience to successfully drive a hands-on pan-European business ‘turn-around’ working as a member of the business’s executive team.  He has also lead interventions to facilitate ‘turn-arounds’ and performance improvement programmes.

Core to this approach is his conviction that leadership and high performance are infectious, particularly under pressure – and for good or for bad.   Focusing on individual mindset and the broader, critical, choreography between business behaviour and execution, Haydn helps individual leaders and managers from blue chip environments with coaching insights and facilitation that crystallise down to the very next decision and action.

He has a proven track record in following through to implementation, operating from a PMO and directing internal High Impact Teams towards priority tasks. Equally, Haydn has designed, lead and delivered a variety of innovative leadership and talent development programmes designed to shift capabilities and mind-sets to at least two levels above their own. He has also lead culture transformation programmes across international boundaries in most sectors.  He is adept at blending the right mix of learning approaches – tools, psychometrics, action based, experiential, simulation, scenario’s, case study coaching and mentoring -  environments and consultants to deliver an enduring result for clients.

Haydn holds an MBA in International Business and Strategic Human Resource Management, and can work with a plethora of assessment, psychometric and profiling tools, and is a member of the EMCC and CIM. Haydn is fluent in English and French.
