Jack MacPhail, Senior Consultant
Jack MacPhail is a Senior Executive Advisor with deep global business experience at the executive level. Before forming Jack MacPhail LLC, MacPhail enjoyed a diverse professional career. Most recently at Korn Ferry International, he was Managing Director-Americas for their Leadership and Talent Consulting business. Over five years at Korn Ferry, Jack and his colleagues institutionalized the leadership business as a key component of Korn Ferry's talent management strategy.
Prior to Korn Ferry, MacPhail spent eight years at the leading corporate culture shaping firm, Senn Delaney, serving both as a partner and member of the senior management team. Some of his clients include British Gas, London Electricity, Bristol Myers Squibb, Union Pacific Railroad, Banc One, JP Morgan Chase, Key Bank, Bath and Body Works (the Limited), and Nationwide Insurance. He still retains significant professional and personal relationships from that work as reflected in his testimonials.
Upon graduating business school at Cornell, Jack started his professional career with the Chase Manhattan Bank in New York City (now JP Morgan Chase). During those 24 years, he held both global line and staff assignments in the US, Europe and Asia. He concluded his career as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Global Corporate Bank at Chase Manhattan.
MacPhail is a graduate of Nichols College with a BA in marketing, and of the Johnson School of Business at Cornell with a Masters of Public Administration. Other experiences have included serving with the US Army's 5th Special Forces during the Vietnam conflict, and on Kibbutz Ashdot Yacoov Ichud in Israel. He resides in Manhattan with his wife Sandy, who is pursuing her doctorate in child psychology.
